Downtown Middle School Campus Information
It has been my privilege to serve the students and families of District 303 as principal of Thompson Middle School from 2009-2013, and principal of Wredling Middle School for the last four years. I am honored to have been selected as principal of the downtown middle school campus. This is going to be an exciting time for both our students and staff.
As always, I will work to create the best possible learning environment. Fundamental and at the center of that environment you will find the students. There’s a little saying that I use frequently, and based on my experience, I believe sums up the feelings of middle school students and helps guide the approaches adults should consider when assisting middle school students. It goes…..
“Middle school kids don’t care what you know until they know that you care!”
Our programs at the middle school level focus on active learning and providing middle school appropriate opportunities for our students. With that in mind, the staff will also be committed to our District 303 Vision Statement:
- Attain Excellence
- Learn with Passion
- Live with Integrity
Educating our children is a collective effort between the home and school. Fundamental in this partnership is communication.
As we move toward the opening of the downtown middle school campus in August 2017, check back to this page regularly as we update information about our school. Do not hesitate to call if you have any questions. You can reach me at (331) 228-3700 by phone or through e-mail at Stephen.Morrill@d303.org
I am looking forward to working with our community to help create the best school for all our students!
