North H.S. Student Receives Presidential Award

St. Charles North H.S. student Claire Miller has been honored for her exemplary volunteer service by being named a recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award.

The award, which recognizes Americans of all ages who have volunteered significant amounts of their time to serve their communities and their country, was granted by The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program on behalf of President Barack Obama.

Four District 303 Students Named National Merit Finalists

St. Charles East High School student Alan Koval, along with St. Charles North High School students Ryan Fahey, Kira Nutter, and Nicole Palmer have been named as finalists in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program. These four District 303 students are among 15,000 students nationwide who have been selected for this honor.

Summer Schools and Camps 2017

District 303 schools offer a variety of summer school, athletic and music camp opportunities. Registration for St. Charles East and St. Charles North High School Summer Athletics, Summer Swim, Driver's Education and High School Summer School is now open. Additional camps will be posted as information becomes available.

D303's Project Lead the Way students were treated to a visit from retired Astronaut, Col. Mark Lee, at North H.S. In the video, Col. Lee explains the physical changes one experiences upon return to Earth and some information about the next rocket to be used to lift mankind into space.
