The Story of Chloe

Chloe, the comfort dog, visits Wredling monthly to visit with students. Chloe typically hangs out in the RISE classroom or the Student Services department. Watch the video to hear the impact Chloe and other comfort dogs have made to Wredling students and staff. 

Last Day Clap Out at Lincoln

"Underclassmen" at Lincoln School clapped out the 5th graders who are moving on to middle school.  At the back of the line were staff members Mrs. Kim Kimmel and Mrs. Lisa Ours who are also departing after this school year, and received a special goodbye from the students and staff.  

CO2 Cars Race at Wredling

Wredling students in Mr. Eric Hensel's Industrial Tech class tested their carbon dioxide race cars.  It takes about 1 second for the red car to cross the finish line.

Author Troy Cummings Visits Ferson Creek

Students at Ferson Creek School were paid a visit recently by author and illustrator Mr. Troy Cummings.  He is best known for his "Notebook of Doom" series of books for kids that he writes and illustrates.  When Mr. Cummings visited with the Ferson students, he showed how he creates "monsters" for his books by having the students get creative with drawing.

A Bear Hangs with the Hurricanes

Haines students had a visit from Chicago Bears Punter Pat O'Donnell as part of participation in the "Fuel Up to Play 60" program.  Mr. O'Donnell sat down with some of the students and fielded questions about quarterbacks, his favorite teammate, playing soccer, and the NFL Scouting Combine.
