Classes Cancelled at St. Charles East H.S. for Tue, January 10

D303 Dir. of Communications answers questions from the media regarding the cancellation of classes at St. Charles East H.S. for Tue. Jan. 10.

Memories of Shelby School

We visited with some District 303 staff members who attended Shelby School, which is currently known as the Shelby Building on west side of the river in Downtown St. Charles. The fire escape chutes were a big deal to the kids who went to school at Shelby!

Voices Like Angels

Thompson Midddle School's Bella Voce stopped by the District Administration Building for a Holiday visit.  Under the direction of Mrs. Michelle Rybski, they performed a number of Holiday songs including "Angels We Have Heard on High" and "Deck the Halls" which you can also enjoy by watching the video. Within the performance of "Deck the Halls" is a gift suggestion you might consider if you have a young lady in middle school on your shopping list.

An Hour of Code at Haines

Students at Haines Middle School participated in "An Hour of Code" which is an initiative to introduce students to the language of computer programming.  Students learned how programmers created "Sphero", a device that is controlled through a mobile, wireless app. (And they were able to test drive Sphero!)

Students Changing Schools

In District 303 over the last decade, there have been no major school boundary changes, no schools that have closed, no schools that have opened.  That is vastly different from what students experienced in the past.  Listen to the tales of school changes as told by some of our staff members who went to school in District 303. Veterans' Day at Munhall

Students at Munhall Elementary welcomed Veterans to their school on the 11th day of the 11th month to say "Thank You" for serving our country and keeping us free.
