Wild Rose Turns 50

Wild Rose School is celebrating their 50th Anniversary. We visited with current and former staff members and alums to collect stories and memories of the first 50 years! 

St. Charles East Presents "Aida"

St. Charles East presents the Elton John and Tim Rice musical "Aida" in the Norris Cultural Arts Center Apr. 28-29 at 7 p.m. and Apr. 30 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens. Watch the video for a preview of the show!

North H.S. Presents "Little Shop of Horrors"

St. Charles North presents the horror/comedy/rock musical "Little Shop of Horrors" in the North H.S. Auditorium Apr. 20-22 at 7:30 p.m. and Apr. 23 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students, and $3 for senior citizens. Watch the video for a preview of the show!

USS Illinois Submariner Visits Richmond to Thank Students

Richmond students are taking part this year in a program called Vet Connect in which students exchange letters with men and women serving in our military.  The Richmond kids were paired up with the submarine USS Illinois and recently they received a visit from the USS Illinois' Chief of the Boat, Jack White who answered questions from the students.  It didn't take long for the kids to ask the questions that really matter!

2017 Distinguished Alumni Class Meets with East H.S. Students

The District 303 Distinguished Alumni Class of 2017 met with students in Mr. John Biernacki's Leadership Class at East H.S.  They discuss how leaders listen and find ways to connect with others.  This year's Distinguished Alums are Air Force Col. Rod Cregier, North H.S. Teacher Mr. Ron Brown, and St. Charles Businessman Mr. Jeff Orland.

East H.S. Students Create Piano-Playing Robot

Students in the East H.S. Project Lead the Way class of Mr. Mike DeWees accepted the challenge of building a robot that plays the piano.  Watch the video to hear their story and see if you can "Name That Tune"!
