North H.S Presents "The Drowsy Chaperone"

The St. Charles North H.S. Theatre & Music Department will present their Spring Musical The Drowsy Chaperone for four performances Thur-Sat April 23, 24, & 25 at 7:30 p.m. Sun, April 26 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students, $7 for adults, and $3 for senior citizens.  Tickets are available at the box office 30 minutes before the show. 

East H.S. Presents "The Sound of Music"

East H.S. will present "The Sound of Music" at the Norris Cultural Arts Center on Apr. 24 & 25 at 7:30 p.m. and Apr. 26 at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.  Watch the preview as Maria and Von Trapp children sing "The Lonely Goatherd".

Norton Creek After School Authors

Teachers at Norton Creek conduct a marvelous program for students called After School Authors and recently the young authors were paid a visit by children's book author Sherry Duskey Rinker.  It seems even authors have favorite authors.  Watch the video to find out who tops Mrs. Rinker's list.

Fiddle Fest 2015

The Annual St. Charles Fiddle Fest was held on Fri, Feb. 27, 2015 at Wredling Middle School.  Fiddle Fest is the largest performance gathering in Kane County for musicians who play stringed instruments.  Watch and listen to a wide-range of talented musicians perform together in this unique civic event!

I'm Not Perfect, and You Shouldn't Expect You'll Be Perfect

At the North H.S. HOPE Assembly, Dean of Students Ms. Brenna Ohlson discussed the expectation people (especially teenagers) have regarding perfection.  Her message: We're humans, we can' be perfect no matter how much mass media tries to tell us otherwise. 

Distinguished Alums Visit East H.S.

The three newest members of the District 303 Distinguished Alumni visited the East H.S. classroom of Mr. John Biernacki to talk to students about leadership.  They also explained what it means to them to be named a Distinguished Alum.
