Newest D303 Distinguished Alums Visit East H.S.

Two of the newest members of the D303 Distinguished Alumni visited our high schools on Feb. 19. Melissa Hefferin Berquist and Jim Cooke both talked about their memories of going to school in St. Charles. Mr. Cooke's tale emphasized that students should not be afraid to fail through the prism of a young man's junior high crush for a young lady.

Happy 94th Birthday to Betty Butler

Former D303 staff member, WWII Veteran, and St. Charles resident Betty Butler was honored on her 94th birthday with a performance from the St. Charles North H.S. Vocal Jazz Workshop.  Mrs. Butler was 88 when she retired from the District after serving as the Library Cataloger for the entire District.

Bears Linebacker Sam Acho Visits Richmond Intermediate

Students at Richmond Intermediate School received a visit from Bears LB Mr. Sam Acho as part of the school's participation in the Fuel Up to Play 60 fitness and nutrition program. Students asked Mr. Acho questions about how he warms up for a game, why he studied to become bi-lingual, and what is the most important piece of advice he would give to students.

Anderson Student Council Learns about Leadership

The Anderson School Student Council invited Dr. Schlomann to visit on Friday, January 8 to answer questions about leadership.  One of the first questions from the students was, "What is the most important thing for a leader to do?"

A D303 Grad Visits Memory Lane (Part 1)

Just before her graduation last Spring, East H.S. alum Mallory Mollenhauer ('15) went back to visit with some of her teachers from her 13-year journey through District 303. Mallory also attended Bell-Graham and Thompson.
