Due to the resignation of Mr. Michael Bryant on January 11, 2021, the District 303 School Board is now accepting applications to fill the seat in accordance with School Board Policy 2:70. Included on this page is information about the application process, qualifications of a school board member, and a timeline to fill the vacancy.
Board Policy 2:40 - Board Member Qualifications
Be a United States Citizen
Be at least 18-years old
Be a resident of Illinois and the District for at least one year immediately preceding the appointment
Be a registered voter
Not be a child sex offender
Board Policy 2:70 - Vacancies on the School Board - Filling Vacancies
The School Board has 60 days to accept applications and appoint a new School Board member. The appointed School Board member will serve on the School Board from the date of appointment until the consolidated election in 2023.
Qualified and interested community members should submit a resume and a letter explaining their interest in serving on the District 303 School Board by 3:00 p.m. on January 29, 2021. Please send both the resume and letter of interest to the attention of:
