District 303 Schools Closed Monday, February 2

All District 303 schools will be closed on Monday, February 2 due to weather conditions.  In addition, all before and after school activites are cancelled.  Additional information regarding these events will be posted on D303.org or your school's web site as it becomes available. 

All 12-month employees are expected to report to work.  In case of absence, 12-month employees must use a vacation or personal day. 12-month SCESP members may account for their absence by using a sick day.

2015-16 Community Preschool Space Still Available

For the 2015-16 school year, District 303 will offer a five-day-a-week, 1/2 day, morning or afternoon preschool program.  You will have the option to choose from the following locations:  Fox Ridge, Ferson Creek or Norton Creek School.

D303 Parent Satisfaction Hits All-Time High

St. Charles Community Unit School District 303 recorded its highest mark ever in parent satisfaction during the annual District 303 Parent Satisfaction Survey.  Of the 1,954 responses to the survey, 86% said they were either “mostly” or “very” satisfied with their child’s school.

Board of Education Committee Meetings

The agenda packets for the Policy Committee and the Community Relations Committee of the Board of Education, meeting on Monday, January 26, 2015, are now available in Boardbook.  The agenda packet for the Business Services Committee scheduled to meet on Thursday, January 29, 2015, is also available in Boardbook.

The agenda packet for the Board of Education Learning and Teaching Committee meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, January 20, 2015 is now available on BoardBook at www.d303.org. The meeting will begin at 5:00 pm in the Administration Center.

Anderson Welcomes International Visitors

Anderson Elementary School welcomed their peers from C.E. Hispano Americano in Mexico recently.  The students from Mexico were split among various classes for the day.  In the 4th grade class of Mrs. Jennifer Weber, students discussed the differences for kids going to school in Alaska, Mexico and Illinois after reading the book Recess at 20 Below.
