We received nearly 2000 responses to the Parent Satisfaction Survey. A summary of the responses will be presented to the Board of Education early in 2015.

School Board Election-Notice of Filing

Nominating petitions for the Board of Education election to be held on April 7, 2015, shall be filed with the County Clerk of Kane County

This is a change from previous years.  The first day for filing nomination papers is Monday, December 15, 2014.  

Board of Education Committee Meetings

The agenda packets for the Board of Education Learning & Teaching Committee Meeting, scheduled for December 15 at 5:00pm, and the Business Services Committee Meeting, scheduled for December 18 at 5:00pm, are available in Boardbook.

Parent University - December 10

Anxiety and School Avoidance - What causes a student who used to look forward to going to school to suddenly make excuses for why they don't want to go, or actually stay home?  Join us for Parent University on Wednesday, Dec 10 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the D303 Administration Center (201 S. 7th St.).  Guest speaker will be Dr. Megan Schmitz, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with Linden Oaks at Edward, Adolescent Anxiety Program, in St. Charles.

Japanese High School Musicians Visit St. Charles East

The St. Charles East H.S. School Bands hosted the internationally renowned Saitama Sakae High School Wind Orchestra from Tokyo, Japan earlier this week. The group was in the United States to perform at the Midwest Clinic, an annual event in Chicago attended by over 10,000 band and orchestra directors from all over the world.
