The District 303 School Board welcomes community input by providing opportunities for public comment at all meetings. We value our partnership with the community and encourage you to respectfully share your perspectives and opinions that will assist us with important discussions about public policy.
As a board, we are committed to transparency, public engagement in decision making, and representation. We will model good behavior by treating those who attend our meetings with the same civility and courteousness that we expect in return.
We understand that School Board meetings are meetings of the School Board held in public, not open-forum town-hall meetings. As a community, we should come together to communicate with each other respectfully, to engage in dialogue to really hear and understand different perspectives, and to collaborate to develop solutions that can serve the needs of our students and to reach our goal of becoming more inclusive.
We will keep this in mind as we conduct our meetings, allowing the public to provide input at the time allotted on the agenda to ensure that multiple voices of the community are heard.
Thank you for your continued support and participation as we work to serve the students, staff members, and families of District 303.
